Who doesn’t love chicken strips? Well that certainly wouldn’t be me! I’m always on the lookout for a good recipe for chicken strips that leaves the chicken tender, crispy and with just the right texture. This recipe was adapted from this recipe over at Natasha’s Kitchen
2 pounds of chicken
1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 cups panko bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
In a large bowl combine bread crumbs, salt, cayenne pepper, oregano & 1/2 teaspoon garlic.
Season chicken strips with a sprinkling of salt & pepper.
In a separate bowl combine mustard, mayonnaise & remaining garlic. Add chicken & mix thoroughly.
Bake for 20 minutes at 450 degrees.
