Spicy Ginger Stir Fry Sauce


  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • + 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • salt
  • ginger
  • cayenne pepper
  • cornstarch


  • Mix 1 tablespoon of water with cornstarch.  Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix salt, ginger & cayenne pepper. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan add water & soy sauce.
  • Add spices. Mix well & bring to a boil.
  • Once the mixture has come to a boil, turn the heat down.
  • Next add the cornstarch & heat the mixture until thickened.
  • Serve the sauce over chicken, fish or mixed vegetables.
