I enjoy making this bread. The flavor is terrific & the texture is just right!
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 ripe bananas
Directions
- Stir sugar, oil, vanilla, eggs, milk & banana until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, blend flour, baking powder & salt. Add to wet ingredients.
- Stir just until blended.
- Bake in a 9 inch loaf pan on 350 degrees F in a water bath for 20 minutes .
- Remove from water bath and continue baking for 30 minutes
