Relationships can bring some of the greatest joys & the deepest sorrows. Just when we enter a period of peace and happiness in our life, unexpected difficulties may arise. We need the right tools to be able to hurdle past relationship woes. The points brought out by these scriptures have helped us tremedously in our relationships.

Be a good listener

“Know this, my beloved brothers: Everyone must be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.” James 1:19

Slow down, think & be patient before getting yourself all upset!

“Better is the end of a matter than its beginning. Better to be patient than to be haughty in spirit.  Do not be quick to take offense,  for the taking of
offense lodges in the bosom of fools.”
Ecclesiastes 7:8 & 9

 Stay calm when problems arise

 “All his spirit is what a stupid one lets out,
but he that is wise keeps it calm to the last.”

If you cannot keep your cool – leave!

Use kind words when addressing problems

” Let your words always be gracious, seasoned with salt,
so that you will know how you should answer each person. ”

Be forgiving

“But become kind to one another, tenderly compassionate, freely forgiving one another just as God also by Christ freely forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32

Be a true unselfish friend – all the time!

” A True friend shows love at all times and is a brother
who is born for times of distress.”

A wife deserves – true, unselfish love from her husband

“Husbands Continue loving your wives, just as the Christ also
loved the congregation and gave himself up for it”

A husband needs his wife to respect & support him

“The wife should have deep respect for her husband”
